Mission Statement
“The San Francisco Bay Area Koi Club wants to help people do it right
the first time, helping to create a dream rather than a nightmare.”
1. To encourage, promote, and educate others in the art of keeping Koi
and building ponds through quality guidance and care for show,
breeding, aesthetics, sales, or just for pleasure.
2. To build a “Koi keeping” network among the members.
3. Projects:
Sponsor Koi Shows and pond tours.
Study and research all areas of Nishikigoi, including pond and water garden
design, construction, development, and support
4. Encourage and promote the development and presentation of show Koi.
Our membership extends from San Francisco to Brentwood, Salinas
to Red Bluff! Many members are virtual only, but are active in
supporting the objectives of the SFBAKC.
